Rea’s Counseling Corner
Hello MCW families,
I’m Mrs. Rea formally known as Ms. O’Rear if you and your child were around last year. I’m so excited to be back and counseling 3rd through 5th graders again this year. This is my second year as a counselor in CFBISD. I’m a proud product of CFBISD. I grew up in Carrollton and attended McCoy Elementary, Ted Polk Middle School, and Newman Smith High School. Following high school, I attended The University of North Texas where I received my undergraduate in Interdisciplinary Studies. I went on to teach third grade for three years in Richardson ISD. After that, I began my journey as a Kindergarten teacher in Frisco ISD for 8 years. During that time, I received my Master’s Degree in counseling at Amberton University. That being said has brought me back full circle to CFBISD once again. We have had an amazing start and I’m looking forward to an amazing year together.
