ParentSquare is the official communication platform for CFBISD schools, staff and families.

ParentSquare is a simple, secure way for district staff to communicate with families and other staff members.

Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
  • Communicate in your preferred language
  • Comment on school postings to engage with your school community
  • Direct message teachers and staff
  • Participate in group messages
  • Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
  • Sign forms & permission slips, sign up to volunteer and more all from your desktop or mobile device


Activate your Account

Up to 48 hours after enrollment is finalized, you will receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. It takes less than a minute.

You can use ParentSquare on any device. You can download the free mobile app for iOS or Android or use the desktop version at www.parentsquare.com.

Our goal is for every family to join ParentSquare and engage with our school community.


Smartphone Apps

For families with Apple or Android smartphones, ParentSquare offers an app to view all communication from teachers, schools and the district. This app provides another avenue to review communication, though it is not required – families can still view communication by phone, email or on the ParentSquare website.

 

Tips for Parents & Guardians

  1. Activate Your Account
    Click the link in your activation email/text, or sign up on parentsquare.com or via the ParentSquare app.

  2. Download App
    It’s easy to stay in the loop with the ParentSquare app. Download it now for iOS or Android devices.

  3. Set Preferences
    Click your notifications icon in the top left, then select the gear to set your notification and language preferences.

  4. Appreciate Posts
    Click ‘Appreciate’ in your email/app or website to thank a teacher or staff member for a post.

  5. Comment or Reply
    Click ‘Comment’ in app or website to privately ask a question about the post that your teacher or school sent.

  6. Find People
    Click ‘Directory’ in the sidebar to find contact information for school staff.

  7. Get in Touch
    Click ‘Messages’ in the bottom toolbar to privately get in touch with staff and teachers.

Parents, if you are needing additional support or have issues with your ParentSquare account, please contact your child's campus and they will submit a ticket through Incident IQ and keep you informed of the progress.
