Coyote Trait Celebration

Coyote Trait Celebration

McWhorter Coyotes have been busy learning and practicing the Coyote Character Traits.

Currently, collaborative and organized are the focus for morning meetings and class discussions.

Each week brings an opportunity to recognize students who are demonstrating collaboration, organization as well as the other character traits. Staff members and teachers nominate students who are seen demonstrating the traits. Each Friday, they are celebrated during the morning announcements. Then, those students participate in a celebration at the Book Vending Machine.

With a token from the Coyote, they are able to choose a book to take home as a celebration of exemplary Coyote Traits. Provided by the CFB Educational Foundation, the Book Vending Machine serves as a way to encourage embodying the Coyote Traits as well as promoting literacy.

With 25 winners so far, a new tradition is off to a great start!
