Last Friday, the Sunshine Committee at McWhorter Elementary spread big smiles and even bigger sweetness with a special surprise for World Teachers’ Day — a delicious Apple Bar set up in the teacher’s lounge!
The bar was filled with apples and different toppings such as caramel and chocolate syrup. Teachers were invited to stop by, grab a treat, and enjoy a few moments of appreciation. Along with the treats, a relaxation station was available for teachers to participate in.
The apples and toppings were graciously provided by the McWhorter families. Teachers were all smiles as they enjoyed their treats, and the support from parents truly made this day extra special.
